Responsibilities

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews every 90 days with each client
  • Actively identify client growth opportunities
  • Provide short term and long-term budgeting roadmaps
  • Align clients to best practices
  • Design and/or present proposals, presentations and agreements
  • Establish and document future client projects and IT initiatives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives
  • Assist accounts in strategic decision making
  • Establish and maintain a position as strategic advisor to business and IT stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with team members to develop solution approach and deliverables
  • Deep dive ticket trending and drive efficiencies
  • Cost accounts for profitability
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and competitive products
  • Represent the company’s core values and culture

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of account management experience and IT specific experience is preferred.
  • Relevant education is an asset
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Experience working in a managed service provider is desired.
  • Experience working with technology is desired
  • Excellent communicator – both verbal and written
  • Capable of thinking ahead months/years and executing towards the long-term goals and vision of the organization

Keeran Networks is a rapidly growing Managed Services Provider headquartered in Edmonton. We have an excellent team, great work environment and wonderful clients to work with. We are currently seeking a fulltime Account Manager to be based in our Edmonton office. The Account Manager will be responsible for the overall client experience from onboarding new accounts and helping align them to best practices, to being a client advocate and ensuring that all client expectations are met in a timely manner.

The successfully candidate will be a great communicator who excels at working in a busy environment while being highly organized. Some previous technical and or sales experience is desirable in this role, but most of the job is dealing with people and processes rather than servers and workstations.

Your polished written and verbal communication skills will be important when engaging clients. You will assist in developing account management plans and processes. This role requires a high level of professionalism and an ability to quickly develop rapport with potential clients. Attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are needed.
